Planning Officer II, KVB 8, CSG ‘11’/JOB GROUP ‘J’ REF: KVB/PO/5/2026

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in: -

(i)              Collecting statistical data;

(ii)            Analyzing data and producing necessary report as requested;

(iii)           Conducting economic analyses and formulating strategies;

(iv)          Providing Input into feasibility studies and service delivery surveys;

(v)            Providing input in the preparation of development plans;

(vi)          Updating database of statistical data;

(vii)        Retrieving statistical information on a regular basis as required; and

(viii)       Carrying out research and surveys.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

(i)              Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Statistics or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and

(ii)            Proficiency in computer applications.
